Moving forward in life would probably be one of the hardest things you can do. If you’re not moving forward you’re moving backwards, that’s what my mother always said. I found it hard moving forward when she died. I missed the smell of her hot cookies baking in the oven in the afternoons and her falling asleep in front of the fire after reading a nice long book. After my father died, she never really listened to my options on life, she hated me. Said that I reminded her to much of my father; even after years of trying to be her favourite person, it wasn’t enough.
Two years later, when I was only thirteen years old, she pasted. I was moved into care and I was fostered into a family who loved me as their own. They were my new family, and my new life. Five years later, I moved out and went to College in Manhattan. I don’t think I will ever forget my mother and her horrifying death, but all daughters love their mothers and I know that my daughters will miss me too.

This is also something I enjoy quite a bit as well! I LOVE to write. Here's a little piece from a short story I wrote over Christmas. 
Everything was dark, dreary, depressing, the table continued to grow taller and taller with food as if that would ease the pain. People were standing around dressed in black, talking like they were in a library and treating everything they touched in the house like it was fine china. Condolences and tears were exchanged at each corner but the host was no where to be found. Upstairs the walls in the bathroom were white, a bright change from the scene downstairs. All the white tiles reminded Tommy of, though, was the hospital with its blinding white walls and sterile clean rooms.
As he sat there he heard the flat line once again, the sound that had torn his heart in two, the sound of her leaving this world. He had to press his forehead into the cold wall of the bathtub to try and drown the noise from his mind. The bathtub was the only place he could find peace. He didn’t need water or bubbles, only the bathtub; he could hear them calling for him downstairs but he didn’t want to go. It was hard enough for him to hold himself together when he was alone, everyone else’s grief tore him up on the inside until he couldn’t breath when they were around. They said expecting it would make her passing easier being prepared would help ease the pain.
How could knowing you were going to lose the person you cared about the most, the person who meant the world to you, ever be easy?

&maddi If you didn't want anyone to post in your thread then you should have told me you wanted a story writing board then you could have put your thread there without worrying about anyone posting.
As for what I read there's no indication that you did or did not want anyone to post.
